Tom Ahmadifar is the Associate Managing Editor of the American University Business Law Review (AUBLR). He is working for the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations during the Fall 2013 semester and is in the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic during the Spring 2014 semester. His recent publication, “”Two Steps Forward, and One Step Back: How the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act Encourages Design-Build, But Roadblocks Remain,” was featured in Volume 5.2 of the Legislation and Policy Brief. In addition to his current work, during law school, he has also interned at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Sullivan & Worcester LLP.
Tom graduated from Northwestern University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. After graduating, he worked as a legislative fellow in the Office of Governor Pat Quinn in Illinois where he focused primarily on economic development policy matters.
