Employment Visas Under the New Administration
The new administration has been vocal about its polarizing view on immigration law. With the executive orders, the new administration has already affected many immigrants working or planning to work in the United States on an employment visa. This symposium will address the flaws in the H-1B and F-1 OPT visas, how the executive orders have affected these visas, what further changes to these visas is the new administration likely to make, and what changes would be most beneficial for the visa programs.
The symposium will be held at American University Washington College of Law
