Michelle Winters is a Note and Comment Editor on the American University Business Law Review (AUBLR). She is currently in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic at American University Washington College of Law and serves as a research assistant for Professor N. Jeremi Duru. During law school, Michelle interned at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the Appellate Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, and private firms in Maryland and Brazil. Her forthcoming publication, In Sickness and In Health: How California’s Student-Athlete Bill of Rights Protects Against the Future of Injured Athletes, will appear in the Marquette Sports Law Review.
Michelle is from Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Spanish. Prior to law school, she taught English in São Paulo, Brazil.
